SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack sassa status of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office sassa dedicated to service the area daily. The services place created for intervention encounters a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
